Setup Guide

    Install the SiteLift Plugin

    Download and install our official plugin from the WordPress repository.

    • Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
    • Search for SiteLift.
    • Click Install Now, then Activate.

    Generate an API Key

    You need an API key to link the plugin to your SiteLift account.

    • Log into your SiteLift Dashboard.
    • Navigate to Project Settings > Integrations.
    • Click Generate API Key and copy the token securely.

    Configure the Plugin

    Provide the key to your WordPress installation.

    • In WordPress, go to Settings > SiteLift.
    • Paste your API key into the Connection Token field.
    • Select the default post author and category for new articles.
    • Click Save Changes.

Tip

Once connected, you don't need to log into WordPress to publish content. SiteLift handles the publishing workflow automatically.

Troubleshooting

If articles are not syncing, ensure that your WordPress REST API is not being blocked by a security plugin (like Wordfence) or your hosting provider's firewall.
