Content Planner
Take command of your SEO strategy before a single word is written. The Content Planner gives you a bird's-eye view of your entire month's publishing schedule.
Your Monthly Plan
Once you are fully subscribed (meaning your plan is activated and you are no longer in a trial phase), SiteLift automatically generates a comprehensive content plan for the entire month.
This plan outlines the exact titles, target keywords, and scheduled generation dates for every article.
Note
Interactive Views
The Content Planner provides two interactive ways to visualize your monthly strategy:
Calendar View
A visual monthly calendar layout. Great for understanding your publishing cadence and seeing exactly which days articles will go live.
Table View
A dense list view displaying the target keyword, word count, and precise status of each plan. Perfect for bulk review and tracking generation progress.
Customizing Before Generation
The true power of the Content Planner lies in the ability to steer the AI before it starts writing. From the planner interface, you can open any planned article to view its details (Target Keyword, Word Count, Secondary Keywords) and add specific guidance:
User Assets
Upload specific images (PNG, JPG, WEBP) you want included in the final article. These images are pre-attached to the AI's generation context.
Special Instructions
Provide direct, highly-impactful guidelines for the AI to follow when drafting that specific article.
Mastering Special Instructions
Special instructions are powerful context injections. They heavily influence the narrative, structure, and focus of the generated article. You must be careful and precise here.
✓ Best Practices
- • Mention a specific product feature to highlight.
- • Specify a particular target audience (e.g., "Write for enterprise CTOs").
- • Provide a unique viewpoint or contrarian take you want the article to argue.
✕ What to Avoid
- • Don't stuff raw keywords (the AI already handles SEO optimization).
- • Don't provide contradictory instructions that confuse the narrative.
- • Don't write full paragraphs; keep it concise and directive.
Language & Location Lock
Warning
If you go into your General Settings and change your target language or location in the middle of a billing cycle, those changes will only take effect starting from the next month's generated content plan.
