2. The Data We Collect

We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Includes your name, email address, and account login details.
  • Financial Data: We do not store your credit card details. We use a third-party payment processor (Stripe) to handle subscriptions. We only store your subscription status and customer ID.
  • Technical & Integration Data: We securely collect and encrypt the CMS credentials (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify) you provide so our platform can publish content on your behalf. We also collect your website URLs and competitor URLs to provide the service.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our website and services, collected via analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To register you as a new customer and manage your account.
  • To process and deliver your subscription and manage payments.
  • To provide the core functionality of SiteLift (analyzing competitors, generating content, and publishing via your CMS).
  • To improve our website, products, and services.

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties (Sub-processors) & Network Participants

To provide our service, we share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers. These include:

  • Payment Processors: Such as Stripe, to securely handle your billing.
  • Cloud Hosting Providers: Such as AWS, Vercel, or Azure, to securely host our application and your data.
  • AI & LLM Providers: Such as OpenAI or Anthropic, to generate the text and articles. We only send the necessary prompts and context required to generate the content. We do not use your personal data to train these models.

Premium Distribution Network:If you actively opt into our Premium Distribution Network (Backlink Exchange), your website's public domain URL, niche/category, and generated content may be shared with other users participating in the network to facilitate the automated exchange of backlinks.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how users interact with our website.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics tracking is denied and no cookies are stored. If you explicitly accept cookies via our cookie banner, Google Analytics will collect data such as device information, pages visited, and location. If you decline, only anonymous pings without cookies are sent to measure basic site functionality.

IP Anonymization is enabled by default in our Google Analytics setup, meaning your full IP address is never stored. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.

  • Right to be Forgotten: You can delete your account directly from the SiteLift dashboard. Upon deletion, your personal data and integration credentials are automatically anonymized or deleted from our active systems.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We will also let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service at least thirty (30) days prior to the change becoming effective.
